Parliament's agenda this week is occupied by discussions of critical regulations. Discussions concerning the formation of a Surveillance of Law force Commission will continue this week in Parliament. The Surveillance of Law force Commission was initially proposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs but will be separate from the ministry and watch police or arm forces for any activities that require disciplinary action. Citizens who have been mistreated or threatened by any law forces would be able to report those individuals from the forces to the commission. In addition, the most significant topic on this week's agenda includes regulations regarding the bill on coalmines and amendments to bills that are bylaws will be discussed.
Additionally, Parliament will discuss specialization and research commissions. The Plan and Budget Commission will review an omnibus bill presented by AK Party deputies on Tuesday Jan. 27. The Public Financial Enterprises Commission (KİT) will continue its inspections on Jan 28. The commission on Tuesday will review statements from 2011 and 2012 by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), and statements from 2012 by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises will be reviewed on Jan. 29. Furthermore, the Research Commission of Domestic Violence on Women will meet representatives from the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the Human Rights Committee and the Public Inspection Association on Tuesday Jan 28.
