On late Thursday, with a written statement by Turkey's Interior Ministry and a decision made by the Council of Ministers, six governors were moved to the administrative center while 11 other governors were re-assigned. These changes have been published by the Official Journal of Turkey.
According to this, the Governor of Ağrı Metmet Tekinarslan, Bolu Governor Ahmet Zehteroğulları, Gaziantep Governor Erdal Ata, Mardin Governor Mustafa Taşkesen, Şırnak Governor Hasan İpek and Van Governor Aydın Nezihdoğan have been re-assigned to the administrative center.
General Governor Enver Salihlioğlu has been re-assigned to Tekirdağ.
Chief Civil Inspector Musa Işık has been moved to the Governorship of the province, Ağrı.
Governor of Sinop Yavuz Selim Köşger has been re-assigned to Bingöl.
Aydan Baruş, Deputy Director General of the Interior Ministry's Local Administrations has been re-assigned to Bolu.
The Interior Ministry's General Directorate of Provincial Administration, Ali Fidan has been re-assigned to Düzce.
Murat Zorluoğlu, Strategic and Project Development Manager for the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization has been re-assigned to Elazığ.
Tekirdağ Governor Ali Yerlikaya has been re-assigned to Gaziantep.
Elazığ Governor Ömer Faruk Koçak has been re-assigned to Mardin.
Talas District Governor Yasemin Özata Çetinkaya has been re-assigned to Sinop.
Düzce Governor Ali İhsan Su has been re-assigned to Şırnak and Bingöl Governor İbrahim Taşyapan has been re-assigned to Van.
