Parliament is expected to have its first plenary session on June 23 or June 24 during which the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected members will take place.
Once the official results are announced by the Supreme Election Board on the state broadcaster TRT, expected either on June 18 or June 19, parliamentarians will be sworn in within five days. The members of parliament will then elect a speaker between June 29 and July 3.
