The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has started preparations for possible snap elections after attempts to form a coalition government seem not to have ended unsuccessfully. According to the party's election strategy, it will adopt a different discourse than it did in the June 7 parliamentary elections. The strategy will be reportedly based on three steps, which are new infrastructure projects, some economic promises for different social segments and a revision of the deputy candidate lists. Detailed research conducted by the AK Party said that economic promises and projects were not strong enough to receive support from certain social segments. The party reportedly aims to stress what would be done in terms of infrastructure instead of what has been done during AK Party rule. The AK Party staff found out that the previous election promises were not enough when it comes to retired citizens and civil servants and some improvement in the budget is on the agenda in this regard.
