Turkey, Germany work for efficiency in public buildings

Germany and Turkey are initiating a joint project to make public buildings more energy-efficient. The project was announced Monday by both Turkey's Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. According to a statement from Turkish ministry, the project will cost approximately $6.5 million (TL 14.07 million) and will be funded by Germany. The project is aimed at improving the environment by saving energy and reducing emissions, protecting the global climate and contributing to maintaining the progress of Turkey.
