Besiktas on Tuesday wrapped up preparations for their last UEFA Europa League group match against Rapid Wien of Austria.
Besiktas coach Bernd Schuster said Tuesday's game was unnecessary to play because it would change nothing in the group.
"If I had the power, I would not let this game be played," Schuster told a press conference on Tuesday.
The German coach said the only benefit of the unpretentious match would be providing more time for players, including Quaresma, who have returned from injuries.
