With veteran captain Ibrahim Üzülmez’s hasty departure from the team due to a dispute with fellow player Toraman which turned violent, widespread speculation has surfaced as to whom would be taking his place in tomorrow night’s game against Dinamo Kiev for the UEFA Europa Cup.
According to an announcement made by Lig TV, Beşiktaş's captain will be Guti tomorrow night. Should the Spanish star be substituted out at some point in the game, Quaresma will take his place as second captain.
