An Ethiopian and a Kenyan claimed victory in the 119th edition of the Boston Marathon on Monday. More than 30,000 runners started the nearly 26.2-mile (42,200-metre) footrace under tight security. Lelisa Desisa comfortably won the race in the men's category by finishing in 2:09:17.
