Irishman Paul Dunne lead the way at the 2018 Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament on the opening day in Turkey's Mediterranean resort city of Antalya.
Dunne scored a seven-under-par round of 64. He was followed by Justin Rose, Padraig Harrington and Thorbjorn Olesen with a six-under-par. The tournament – hosting 78 players for the competition – will end on Sunday at Regnum Carya Golf & Resort.
The Turkish Airlines Open is part of the Rolex Series, the premium category of events on the European Tour's Race to Dubai.
Justin Rose, the defending champion, Tommy Fleetwood, Ross Fisher, Thomas Bjorn, Jordan Smith and Andrea Pavan are among the participants of the tournament. Turkish golfers Ali Altuntaş, Hakan Yamaş and Leon Açıkalın will also vie against their rivals in the tournament.
