A request for additional charter flights that concerns the Iranian and Turkish tourism sector employees has been approved by the Tehran administration.
Narina Jandarmiyan, the manager of an Iranian tour operator, stated that the company has been given a permit by the Iran Civil Aviation Organization and announced that additional charter flights to Turkey will commence on March 16.
Furthermore, Jandarmiyan also pointed out that the company has started selling tickets as of Thursday, following the announcement that gave the permit for additional charter flights to Turkey.
"We predict that around 30,000 people from only Tehran will visit Turkey for Nowruz," Jandarmiyan said.
Charter flights, which include scheduled or promotional flights, will continue until April 3 from Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Mashhad, and Ahvaz.
