The May 15th signing of the visa exemption with Colombia, has brought the number of countries Turkish nationals can visit without having to purchase visas prior to their arrival up to 73.
Turkish passport-holders are now able to enter 62 nations without obtaining a visa whatsoever and are able to purchase visas upon their arrival to 11 others.
Nations without visa requirements
The following is a list of countries that do not require Turkish nationals to obtain visas for entry:
"Antigua-Barbuda, Argentina, Albanian, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador, Morocco, Fiji, Philippines, Guatemala, Georgia, Haiti, Croatia, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Nagorno-Karabakh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, KKTC, Colombia, South Korea, Kosovo, Costa Rika, Libya, Lebanon, Macau, Macedonia, Maldives, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Pakistan (businessmen exempt from visas), Palau Republic, Paraguay, Russia, Seychelles, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent-Grenadines, Serbia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Syria, Swaziland, Chili, Thailand, Trinidad-Tobago, Tunisia, Tuvalu, Uruguay, Jordan, Venezuela."
In addition, Turkish nationals are able to visit the Greek islands without obtaining a visa.
Nations where Turks can buy visas upon entry
The countries that allows Turkish citizens to purchase visas upon their arrival are Bahrain, East Timor, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, South Africa, Qatar, Kenya, Sudan, Ukraine, Oman and Zambia.
