Around 1,200 foreigners have settled in Turkey's southern resort city of Antalya's Alanya district and are running their own businesses.
Alanya, a district of Turkey's southern resort city of Antalya is now home to around 1,200 foreigners who run their own businesses.
The number of foreigners, who came from different 100 countries, bringing with them their property reached 30,000 while the annual tourist numbers have reached 3 million in Alanya.
The foreigners are doing business in a variety of sectors including catering, real estate and car rental.
Mehmet Sahin, Alanya's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Chairman, said that 648 of the foreign business owners paid their subscription fees regularly and added, "They must be earning money and are happy, so they come and invest."
