Ganos Path on Tekirdağ's Ganos Mountain is awash with a palette of autumn colors, featuring different shades of yellows, oranges and browns.Ganos Path is the highest section of trail on Tekir Mountain, which the city was named after, and boasts gorgeous views of colorful autumn combinations.
A popular route for photo safaris and nature lovers, especially on weekends, the path takes on a whole new level of beauty with the coming of autumn.
Zirve Mountaineering and Nature Sports Club Tekirdağ Branch Vice Chairman Nedim Meço told Anadolu Agency (AA) that Tekirdağ is becoming a front-runner for the nature, sports and sea tourism sectors.
Mentioning that Ganos Path, prepared as part of the Arrangement of Nature Walking Tracks project, is awash with color in autumn, Meço said: "It was built as part of the project three years ago. Now, it is a marked track. There are actually two paths, Kartaltepe and Ganos. They cover 26 kilometers in total."
He noted the foothills of Ganos Mountain between the districts of Süleymanpaşa and Şarköy are registered nature parks and added: "We use these paths for mountain hiking every weekend. Each hike attracts between 80 and 100 people. Attendees are able to immortalize the beauty of autumn by taking photos here. Tekirdağ is a perfect region for nature lovers in every season. This spot is also great for paragliding."
