President Abdullah Gül has accepted United States Ambassador to Turkey Francis Joseph Ricciardone's credentials.
A ceremony was held in honor of America's newly appointed Ambassador to Turkey Francis Joseph Ricciardone's presentation of his credentials to President Abdullah Gül in Ankara. Ricciardone spoke in Turkish during the ceremony. When Ricciardone introduced his wife and colleagues to President Gül they all spoke in Turkish during the introductions. In return, President Gül congratulated Ambassador Ricciardone's by stating, "You all speak Turkish so well."
