ISTANBUL – A suspectconvicted in a sexual harassment case jumped to his death from the sixth floor of a courthouse in Istanbul yesterday. Murat Uslu, aged 25, a waiter, was in Çağlayan courthouse to testify in a case where he was accused of sexual harassment by a coworker. When the prosecutor ordered his arrest, Uslu ran to stairwell on the sixth floor where the courtroom is located and jumped off. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Çağlayan courthouse was the scene of shooting on Tuesday in which a man killed his mother and policeman protecting her.
