Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammed Basindawa held talks Monday with Turkish Ambassador Fazli Corman on Turkey's support for Yemen to upgrade the country's power and electricity sector.
During the meeting, Basindawa hailed Yemeni-Turkish relations and Ankara's support for Yemen's transitional period.
Last month, Yemen and Turkey signed an energy cooperation deal that marks the start of a 60-year Turkish scheme to update the Yemeni power system.
