Turkey's state-run Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) this week started aid delivery to Palestinians in Gaza who have suffered at the hands of Israeli aggression. AFAD already delivered 90 tons of humanitarian aid packages on Aug. 11 and on Friday. Another batch will be sent on Aug. 19. Apart from basic humanitarian aid, AFAD will deliver 15,000 tons of flour by the end of August.
The aid is being delivered to Gaza by air and sea and handed over to Gazans by the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
