Turkish workers in Irbil die after tunnel collapses

Three Turkish workers have died and one has been wounded in the Iraqi city of Irbil after a tunnel collapsed on Monday morning.
According to reports, the Pirmam Tunnel, located along the Masif district, collapsed due to an unknown cause. The Turkish workers were trapped under an iron bar which was mounted on the tunnel.
One of the workers who was wounded in the incident was brought to Rizgari Hospital in Irbil for treatment.
The Turkish workers who died in the incident have been identified as Ahmet Şahin, Mehmet Şahin and Celal Bilmen. The deceased workers are expected to be sent to Turkey by plane for the funeral.
