An embassy security officer was shot and injured while warning a man for parking his car without permission outside the Qatari Embassy early yesterday in Ankara. A second man appeared on the scene while the guard was talking to the motorist and opened fire. No arrests were made and the guard was taken to hospital. Qatari ambassador Abdulrazak al-Abdulghani said the incident had no connection with the embassy. "Our security personnel was rushed to hospital and his condition is not critical right now," an embassy statement released yesterday said. An investigation is ongoing although police suspect the incident was part of a feud between two groups.
