Four workers lost their lives due to negligence in different locations across Turkey on Saturday.
Mustafa Keleş, 22, died in a construction site in Üsküdar district of Istanbul in an ongoing excavation work. He was hit by rocks which fell from two meters above, Rocks fell on him from two meters, leading to his death.
Two workers died in a road construction site in central province of Konya. Seyit Ahmet Kurt, 47, and Muharrem Çağlar, 30, came to the site to repair the cell tower. Their truck fell into an unmarked cesspit, which was only covered with sheet metal and invisible due to snow cover. Two workers were drowned in the 6 meter deep hole.
Şamil Yaldız, 46, died in Pınarbaşı district in the central province of Kayseri. Yaldız, a worker from local electric distribution company, lost his balance and fell from a high voltage transmission tower during an ongoing repair.
