Turkey to deport two 'Syria-bound' Russian citizens

Two Russian citizens were arrested while attempting to cross the Turkish-Syrian border in Turkey's southeastern province of Gaziantep, according to a written statement from the office of Gaziantep's governor on Friday.
The suspects, who are believed to have been trying to join the war in Syria, were referred to Gaziantep's provincial directorate of security for deportation.
Turkey shares an 800-kilometer-long border with Syria.
Thousands of foreign fighters from all over the world are believed to have joined terrorist organizations, including ISIS, in Syria and Iraq.
