The Board of Biosecurity, which oversees food safety in Turkey, approved the use of two animal feeds composed of genetically modified corn and soy. Authorities said the animal feed containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs) do not pose a risk to human health and they were already approved for human consumption in Europe.
