A group of locals rushed to the aid of a Canadian tourist in Istanbul yesterday when he forgot to activate the handbrake of his car parked on the seaside. Just as the car was about to plunge into the Bosporus, passersby jumped on the hood and stopped it. They waited there for minutes before a tow truck pulled the car back to safety.
