Eight Turkish nationals, who were detained for one year in Egypt, arrived in Istanbul late Monday after being acquitted by an Egyptian court.
The Egyptian coastguard had arrested the Turkish nationals in October 2014 while they were traveling on yacht that had passed through Egyptian territorial waters and was on its way to be delivered to a new owner who had bought it from Turkey.
The coastguard claimed finding unreported hunting shotgun shells on the yacht and arrested the Turkish nationals.
