President Erdoğan celebrates World Pilots’ Day from cockpit

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, heading from Azerbaijan to Croatia on Tuesday for an official visit, got in the cockpit of the Presidential Plane TC-TUR and celebrated all pilots' World Pilots' Day over the radio.

While flying over Ankara, Erdoğan connected to the air traffic control tower in the capital's Esenboğa Airport and celebrated the World Pilots' Day in a message both in Turkish and English.

Erdoğan was in Azerbaijani capital Baku to attend the seventh United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Global Forum. The president then headed to Croatia for an official visit.
