A man killed four of his colleagues on Friday at a university hospital after an argument over a theft incident. Enver Türkmen, 43, drew his pistol during a dispute with four fellow pharmacists working at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Hospital's drug warehouse and shot dead his three victims.
Another victim was injured in the shooting and succumbed to his wounds and died at the hospital.
Türkmen, who was captured by police with his pistol and two loaded cartridge clips, said the two male and female co-workers had accused him of stealing drugs from the warehouse and would not withdraw their allegations even though he claimed he was innocent.
