Four soldiers were killed and 16 others were injured in attacks by PKK terrorists in five different provinces on Friday.

In southwestern Antalya district, terrorists fired two rockets at fuel tankers on the Kemer-Antalya highway. One rocket fell to the ground, while the other landed on the storage house of a nearby fishing company. Sources claimed that the motive for the attack could be police officers buying fish from the company.
Although the region does not fall within areas where PKK terrorists are active, two soldiers were injured when an explosive device was detonated on Aug. 24 during the passage of a gendarmerie minibus. Security forces consider that the perpetrators of both attacks are the same.
