The Meteorological Department issued a statement over the weekend, warning of a drop of up to 12 degrees Celsius in temperatures across the country starting Monday.
Temperatures will start to drop between 5-to-12 degrees Celsius in most of the country, with the steepest falls expected in the northern Black Sea and central Anatolian regions.
In the Aegean region, where temperatures reached close to 30 degrees Celsius until late last week, temperatures will drop between 7-to-8 degrees Celsius. In İzmir, tomorrow's temperatures will see a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees Celsius.
