Salmon from Washington river seen crossing flooded road

Salmon running up the Skokomish River in northwestern U.S. state of Washington manage to overcome an unusual obstacle after a flood: a road.

The footage captured by a local last week on the Highway 101 near the town of Shelton.

The river is known for its salmon runs, in which thousands of fish swim upstream to creeks to breed.
