Three Turkish soldiers were killed in operations against PKK terrorists in the southeastern parts of the country on Sunday.
Two soldiers were killed in armed clashes in Sur district of Diyarbakır province, whereas one soldier was killed in İdil district of Şırnak province.
Another soldier, who was heavily after an handmade explosive laid under the road was detonated during the passage of an armored vehicle on February 18 in Diyarbakır's Lice district, succumbed to his wounds on early Sunday.
The southeast has been the scene of a significant military operation since December.
The PKK -- designated a terrorist organization also by the U.S. and the EU -- renewed its armed campaign against the Turkish state in late July 2015.
