Turkish forces hit PKK targets using armed drones in northern Iraq, killing four PKK terrorists on Sunday.

According to a briefing by the military, after locating PKK terrorists in Iraq's Dohuk district an operation with an armed drone killed one and heavily injured two others.

Another operation with an armed drone was conducted near Chale Mountain in the same region, accounting for the deaths of three more terrorists.

The total number of terrorists killed increased to 463 in the Hakkari operations in Turkey's southeast, the military added.

Meanwhile, another operation in Hakkari's Yüksekova district - situated on the border with Iran - saw the military seize 30 grenades, two Dragunov sniper rifles and a machine gun.

Also late Saturday, two police officers were killed and 20 people were injured in a car bomb attack by PKK terrorists in the Genç district of eastern Bingöl province.

The car bomb parked in front of the district governorate building in the town center was detonated approximately at 10:50 p.m., the Bingöl governorate said in a statement.

One police officer died at the explosion scene, whereas another police officer succumbed to his wounds at the hospital on Sunday. Five other police officers were also injured in the attack. At least 14 civilians suffered minor injuries.

The PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU, resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July last year. Since then, more than 700 members of the security forces have been killed, with around 8,000 PKK terrorists killed or apprehended.
