The owner of the U.S. based Atlanta Jewish Times suggests Israeli security forces ‘take out’ Obama.
Andrew Adler, the owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times published an article in which he proposes three solutions to ensure Israeli security against nuclear threat from Iran. First and foremost, Adler suggests Israel strike Hezbollah and Hamas. Secondly, Adler states that Iran's nuclear facilities should be destroyed. Adler's third proposal was for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to issue an order to Mossad agents in the U.S. to assassinate President Barack Obama, who he deems has been 'unfriendly' to Israel.
Adler states that Obama's replacement Vice President Joe Biden would then be able "to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies." Adler then infers that this far-off scenario has been discussed in Israel.
REACTIONS RESULT IN APOLOGY
Adler received extreme backlash to the article and has since stated that he regrets it, has apologized and affirmed that he does not support assassination.
Meanwhile the Atlanta Jewish Community has harshly objected to the proposals put forth in the article and feels that Adler should issue an apology to President Obama, Israel and the Jewish Community.
