U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson has congratulated Republican Donald Trump as "our president-elect" after early results show the former president well set to recapture the White House.
His comments came Wednesday after Trump seemingly secured key swing states of Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
"House Republicans stand ready and prepared to immediately act on Donald Trump's America First agenda," he added.
